NOS4A2 Wiki

You know, when I got back from the Gulf, I finally realized why he was so pissed off all the time, Larry, and why he drank and why he hid... because he knew there was no reason for him to have been born, and that nobody was gonna give a shit when he died. And that made him feel helpless, you know? And there's no worse feeling. So, yeah, Larry McQueen. Lived for nothing, died for nothing, saw a lot of death, and, I don't know, had me somewhere along the way.

Chris McQueen was a main character on AMC's NOS4A2. He was portrayed by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.[1]

Chris was Vic’s charming, blue-collar dad with a weakness for drink but a deep love for his daughter.[1]

Early Life[]

Chris was born and raised in Haverhill. He always had an estranged relationship with his father, Larry McQueen, an angry drunk who fought in Vietnam and received medical discharge. When Chris was in high school, his father moved to this cabin near Blanford to escape the world.

During his adolescence, Chris was best friends with a skinny kid named Derrick Bridges. They had a band called Left Turn. They'd often play at the Cove. Unfortunately, the summer before graduation, his grandma found him in the basement. He had overdosed.

After graduating high school, Chris enrolled in the Marine Corps. Afterward, he married Linda and had a child, who they named Vic.

Quotes[]

Look. I'm with you. Alright? It was lousy of Linda to sell your bike, and it was lousy that I didn't stop her, alright? Guess I've been screwin' up pretty good in the dad department lately, huh? I'm sorry.
— Chris to Vic

I'm sorry I didn't quit boozing when you were a kid. You know, I should have. And, Brat, you are always welcome to stay here for as long as you want, and I-I-I'll get you on a demo crew, but I can't have liquor here.
— Chris to Vic

You know, the biggest mistake I made with you and your mom... And, geez, I made a lot... But, uh, the biggest was never choosing between staying and going, you know? It tore everyone apart. [...] Just... Just... don't be me. If you don't want Lou, let him go. Figure out a way to be on your own, but if you do want him, Brat, you got to him, fight for him.
— Chris to Vic

I saw, um... a walking dead man take our grandson in this impossible car. And Vic almost stopped him. You know? I know that it's... sounds crazy. I know that. But... Linda, she's special.
