Bing Partridge is a main character on AMC's NOS4A2. He is portrayed by Olafur Darri Olafsson.[1]
Initially, Bing worked as a janitor at William White Memorial High School in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Upon reading a Christmasland ad in a comic book, he reached out to Charlie Manx in hopes of joining his ranks. This beget nearly a decade long partnership between Bing and Manx with the promise that Bing would go to Christmasland after helping Manx "save" ten children. Bing went on to help Manx abduct children from their home and dispatch of their parents after sexually assaulting them.
It was Bing who resurrected Manx after he spent the last 8 years in a coma following his encounter with Vic McQueen. However, their partnership would come to an end as Bing realized that Manx never had any intentions of taking him to Christmasland. And so, Bing intended to crush Manx and the Wraith with a scrapyard compactor. However, Manx was saved by Wayne, allowing him to regain the upper hand and stab Bing in the abdomen with a metal pole before parting ways. Left for dead by Manx, Bing was saved by Vic and Chris McQueen. After undergoing surgery and interrogation, Bing was processed and sentenced to prison, where he is cellmates with The Hourglass Man.
Early Life[]
Bing grew up in a troubled household in Sugarcreek, Pennsylvania. His father was verbally abusive while his mother was oblivious or chose to ignore her husband's abuse towards their child. 1978, Christmas day, Bing's father gave him a gas mask. His father said that it was a family heirloom and he wanted Bing to wear it. Bing stated that he did not want to put the mask on but did so after his father firmly said to. The two began playing a game, pretending to shoot each other. At some point, Bing falls and his father calls him a retard and tells him to get up. His mother comments on her husband's language.[2]
One day during Bing's teenage years, his is hanging light with a nail-gun when his father comes out and begins to insult Bing about how slow he's putting up the Christmas lights. Bing becomes angry, turns around, and puts a nail in his father's forehead. His father falls onto the ground, dead. Bing begins to kick him, telling him to get up and calls him a retard. Bing drags the corpse inside the garage and begins to weep loudly. His mother walks out of the house to see Bing crying over his father's dead body. She kneels down, hugs him, and begins to cry with him. She asks Bing what has he done, but Bing does not answer. Bing stops crying, puts his hand on his mother's neck, and puts their faces together to kiss. She stops him, stating that it is wrong for them to kiss, but Bing forces her onto the ground and rapes her. Afterwards, he grabs the nail-gun, closes the garage, and puts a nail through his mother's head.[2]

Bing is a tall man with a heavy build. He has brown hair with a beard. He is often seen wearing a teal jumpsuit that has a patch on it with his name.
Personality[]
Bing is a lonely man who is very vulnerable to anyone who shows him affection. He almost has a child-like innocence. Initially, he seems to be a friendly man, especially towards Vic. However, his past is filled with darkness his past, much like Charlie Manx. He is a sexual deviant. In addition to raping his own mother and killing her along with his father, he also gases and sexually assaults the parents of the children that he and Manx "save."
